The SOMIZ SPA Participation Committee is the legal body representing employees, ensuring social dialogue and defending your interests. Our institution is based on the solid foundations of Law 90-11 of April 21, 1990, relating to labor relations.

The Committee is supported by eleven (11) members, ensuring a presence across all maintenance sites.
Under the legislation in force, particularly Article 94 of Law 90-11, the SOMIZ Participation Committee plays a central role in the life of the company through several areas:
• Right to Information:
We receive quarterly reports from management on developments in maintenance, production, sales and employment structure.
• Health and Safety (HSE):
As an industrial maintenance company, safety is our priority. We monitor the implementation of health, safety and occupational medicine standards. We work with the employer to ensure a safe working environment.
• Consultation and Opinion:
The Committee provides consultative opinions on strategic decisions and plans.
• Social Services Management:
We are responsible for managing and developing the social services of SOMIZ SPA, with the aim of improving employees’ daily lives.
• Financial Transparency:
We have the right to review the company’s financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in order to ensure the sustainability of our organization.
For this term, the SOMIZ SPA Participation Committee has set clear objectives focused on people and efficiency:
1. Proximity Communication:
Strengthen the relationship with every employee, whether working at an operational site or at headquarters, to ensure smooth and transparent communication.
2. Health and Well-being at Work:
Improve medical services and ensure rigorous monitoring of the physical and mental health of maintenance workers.
3. Advantageous Partnerships:
Expand the network of agreements in healthcare, leisure and commerce to provide greater purchasing power and optimal healthcare coverage.
4. Performance Monitoring:
Analyze productivity and safety indicators, such as accident rates and absenteeism, in order to make proposals to management.
5. Intergenerational Solidarity:
Maintain lasting relationships with our retired colleagues, who are pillars of SOMIZ’s history.
6. Optimization of Social Services:
Improve assistance, emergency aid and social loans to respond to current economic realities.
